Has anyone put one on a Vmax? I'm going to put one on a 96 Vmax 600 XT and was wondering if it will require throttle and/or brake cable extensions.

I would guess you might have to do something there.
I am doing a 2" riser on a Vmax4 & it will work, but I do not believe that I could get the cables to work if I were going 6". Could be wrong but that seems like you might need the famous "cable stretcher" here...LOL

longer cables for sure. dont forget the oil pump cable.

I put a 3" riser on my 95 vmax and bought the longer cables from gravity worx racing nices factory looking cables. it really makes a big difference in the way u can move around on the sled.

on your throttle block, isnt there two cables that connect to the thumb lever? one of those cables goes to the carb rack, the other to the oil pump. lat least thats how it was on my 94, 95, and 96 vmaxes. correct me if i am wrong.

The V-Max does have the 2 cable set.
At 6" you will need the cables as well as the brake hose.

who sells riser block (2") for Vmax4? cant seem to find anyone selling that.
