01srx/04viper

the suspention will bolt up but the viper has long travel shocks. You cant mix and match shocks. If you do a search im sure there is thousands of in fo on this.

Viper susp in srx? you will loose speed and a lot of handling. !996 xt v-max 10 " only raises seat hieght 3 quarters of an inch. The way to go, or M-10

That Viper suspension is almost identical to your SRX suspension. The only difference is the limiters straps are longer, the two shocks are longer and the transfer rods are probably longer. To answer your question though, yes the suspension will bolt in the exact same way as your stock suspension and yes it will raise the back of the sled. If you put it in you should also raise the front of the sled also to help the handling. I did this to my SRX and there is quite a few other people on here who have done it to theirs also.

thanx really looking into it just wanted to get a little info on it. was it very expensive.

Was what very expensive? I bought the drop down brackets for the front for like $50. All they do is just bolt up to the same holes as the stock brackets, they just change the location of where the bolt goes through to hold the top of the shock. I believe its possible to just flip the stock brackets then you wouldn't have to buy anything. I love my SRX with it being long traveled now.
