can someone tell me on my 04 viper what the centre to centre lenght of the front shocks are?
As well I would like to raise up the seld for a more snowcross look what do I need to do or change in the front suspention, idealy I would liike to use my brothers 19 inch snow pro F7 shocks as they would be free.

i think you can buy a kit for an srx that will bolt on and raise the sled, but im a polaris guy just learning about the yamahas, so don't take my word for it..

ok so how will putting longer shocks or raisers affect the suspention geomerty? ill have to extend every thing right?
Just reset the castor, and camber, then realign the skis. If you widen it, it will corner better though. Betheviper has a widening kit thats a bolt in I think. Are the top shock mounts the same?

no the top mounts are not the same, the viper shocks have a clevis mount on the top, the arctic cats have a double eye. you will need to fabricate some mounts and proably widen the skis out some.
