I am sorry if this has been asked before, but have searched but did not find specifics on this topic. Can you put a 1.25" Ripsaw with 1.375 Studs down the center with only adding tunnel protectors, front heat exchange protectors? Or will I need to go to smaller drivers for clearance with front protector? I have a 1.25" Kimpex Predator on it now, but I longed tracked my vector last year, and wanted to put the ripsaw on the SRX this year from it.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have read the rub will go away once the track wears a bit. Or you shave the track were it hits the the front protectors. I'm installing a 1.25 ripsaw tonight that came off an apex. I will let you know how bad it rubs in the morning. if its too bad then i'm saving the track where it hits

Well i installed the track last night and i went to clean my power valves and i had one pulled through and another one was stuck and when i tried to work it out i busted a cable, so i did not get to run the sled. I do see where it rubs on the proctectors and its only 1 little lug on the rip saw. When i start it i will give it some blasts to see how it wears down and if it's bad i'm going to trim the lug

Are you going to stud your track and if so what size stud? I'm in the process of doing an engine rebuild so I won't get to the track for a while plus I am waiting on front protectors to come from hauck before I can install them. Thanks for the feedback, only way to find out is do it and make changes were needed.

we went with 8 tooth drivers, just make sure to get extroverts. all your problems are solved, no rub, no slip, better hyfax wear.

Thunper1,
I think my Ripsaw off my Vector was not fully clipped and has every 3rd window closed so might be more work than I want to do going to Extrovert Drivers. What is the stock drive configurtion, 9 tooth and what did you change the gearing to after going to the 8?

The track is already studded with 192 chisels, the size i don't know exactly, i guess they would be just a little larger than 1 1/4.
The power valve i'm going to fix this weekend. I called the dealer and they want $126 for a new power valve, i almost fell out of my chair. The cable is $54 i think. I guess thats what you get when your too lasy to clean them in the winter and all you want to do is ride. I rode 4000 kms or 2400 miles with out cleaning them. :o|
