I found little puddle size of a quarter sitting on the top of the right powervalve housing. Cannot see a definitive track as to where it's coming from. I'm thinking head gasket.
Any problems with head gaskets or copper washers under bolts on these? Also how big of a project is it to change one or all out?
Thanks

Pin hole in the head. I have the same thing. The hole is near the spark plug.

Not a big deal to pop the cylinder head off and swap out the gaskets...maybe 45 minutes, if you did all three. There is an inner and outer gasket on each head. Very crucial to make sure the cylinder heads are torqued to the proper spec, as well. Best bet is to start it up, let it get hot, and try to see where the leak is coming from (a bolt, from the base of the head, etc...)

There is no trail down the head thats why i was thinking gasket or washer. The bad thing is i have the exhaust off to paint and powervalves out to clean so i can't start it now. Maybe i'll do all 3 three while everything is wide open. Do i need all the copper washers or are they reusable?
I have seen the pinholes in the head castings as mentioned.
I doubt you have a o-ring leaking, but its possible if the engine has alot of corrosion on it from being trailered without a cover, road salt makes the engines all white and crusty.
I would put the pipes and valves back in and then start sled, get it warm and hunt the leak, you can also put a pressure tester on cooling system to find the culprit.

Hardly any salt corrosion. I'll do as said and run it a bit.
Thanks
