SRX vs SXR

I agree with Sno-Xr, the SRX looks like it is in ruff shape. Turk is right, the SX-R will run like the Everyready Bunny. With proper clutching and some mods that are published on here you should be very happy with the performance, also the ride will be alot better on the trail. Those are Quick Nuts from Maxxium Performance they adjust your wieght transfer.

yeah, the sxr looks to be in way better shape. you can throw some triple pipes on that sxr and clutch it and she will scream. and no power valves to have to worry about cleaning/adjusting.

which would you buy man? the 99 has the ugrades but the 01 is in perfect condition... same price except 4 hours of travel for the 01... how much power difference am i talking here?
looking at the pics of the srx (it's ruff and not worth it) go with the sxr!there is alot to be said for a sled thats been looked after and maintained......edit seeing the sxr it's looks like an 00 ....like everybody has said buy it

hey man thanks for all the help i appreciate. you are persuading me towards the sxR i hope thats a good thing... 0-75mph you say they are close and thats a stock sxr? and how much will it cost me to get it that close?

Heads up...that sx-r is a 2000...not a 2001. Still; buy the sx-r! It looks in hugely better shape & i have seen em here with over 20k miles running as new!

crap

hey turk sorry i posted wrong pic thats the 00 i was looking at i like the 00;s better with it being all blue but now i cant find the 01 pic but it is immacculate i mean straight outta the box

01 has a black gauge pod & silver trailing arms. For $50 you can clutch that sled dead nutz on & drive it like a 4 stroke rental!!!!! If it was my money...buy the 01 sx-r. Man; really & truley listen to me!!!!

aftermarket decal. not stock. Keep in touch with me this winter & I can help you dial in that sled dead nutz on for very minimal bucks!!! You won,t be able to kill that sled. i have great jetting/clutching/slight mod tricks that will really wake up that sled. You can really make it a blast to ride for under $200!!!!

I have to know whats in it now. Take apart both clutches & you can either pm me the part #,s or call me at 204-729-7533. Better to call me with the parts in your hand. i know those red head triples real well.

let me just tell you i am not the most mechanically inclined person i dont no what kind of work goes into taking them apart but prolly not a good idea for me to do it

Do not pipe that sled. I can get your stocker running real well. That sled is an under-achiever & tuned properly will make u happy!

Then he has to run premium fuel & it ain,t really that much hp....more like 12 or 14 in real world. The pipe manu;s made some stupid claims.

pipes on stock sxr??

is that the only downfall to the pipes is running premium fuel? and i can run regular fuel in a stock SXR's? my father and two brothers all have stock SXr's and all just boughten this summer so we dont no what they can do yet buyt kind of putting all our eggs in one basket buying 4 of them if i get this one... but any other downfall to pipes other than the fuel?

Your gonna use twice as much fuel on a piped red head engine.
