My wifes 700sxr needs to have the suspension stiffened up a bit what is the best way to run the jam nut down on the rear shock. I have tried to run it down but it seems real hard to turn. Any tricks?? thanks

if you dont have any spring wrenches to loosen the locknuts, try a hammer and chisel to seperate the 2 nuts(kinda crude but it works). once the upper is loose from the lower, pinch the spring with channel locks or vice grips to create some "thread space". then spin the lower nut down until you reach your reccommended setting. again, channel locks work good here. dont forget to "relock" the double nut setup.

Is there anything else that is adjustable back there ?? or is it just the jam nut on the shock its an 01sxr 700 thanks
depends on what your trying to accomplish. only so much adjustment on the shock, as is. check the suspension tuniing info in the tech section, as there are other means of altering suspension.
