My 01 sxr 700 at the end of last season kept overheating. I put new headgaskets on it and it still seems to be doing it. The impellar is working fine. I bled it very well also. Anyone have any ideas?

I have been good,,But busy. Summer and fall is our busiest time for work.
Finally starting to slow down though. Almost have the sleds all ready, still working on the last one. Still have problems with yours???

He moved over by the harvard bar on 15 mile. I'll be up there sunday to put a catalytic converter on my wifes car. I still have your number i'll try to give you a call. Quick question do you know anyone looking for a puppy?

the snow was perfect and took about 10-15 minutes, maybe a little longer. I don't have an actual temp guage hooked up but my light was blinking. I had it out a few weeks ago and took about 5-6 real hard runs across my buddies yard and it started blinking. There sleds weren't running that hot. My coolant keeps going down though. I am gonna get my front end in the air tomorrow and leave the cap off and add a little coolant everyday and hopefully it'll quit. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks Daman.

Is it acually getting hot, touched the head, jugs, heat exchangers and they
very hot,just asking?

H/E's evenly hot all away around?

ya know i did not actually do or even think about doing that!!! I wonder if my sensor is just faulty. But that still doesn't explain losing the coolant, i have no idea where that is going. will get it out tomorrow and run it a little and feel to see if that stuff is getting to hot.

Make sure the system's bled properly, yea the missing coolant is not good.

does it leave a spot on the floor when idling and rev'ed up?

nope, not that i am aware of. I wonder if it just keeps working out little air bubbles little by little. I have cars at work do that every now and again.

I had that problem with my vmax, the water pump belt was stretched and slipping at high rpm. shim it or get a new belt

Pomchi puppy, Not really my style, I am looking for a Boxer pupppy though.
I bet the light or sensor is faulty, especially if you cant see coolant leaking out anywhere?? Maybe the head gasket, Is the exhaust have anti freze in it??

new head gasket. no coolant in the exhaust. I am not gonna make it up there til next sunday. I will be working on it then.
