Interchangeable Gears (SRX vs SX)

I currently have a 99 600sx and want to tweak the gearing. I have read that you can use srx gears for some years, even polaris gears,etc. Can somebody tell me what gears (year and model) will interchange with my 1999 sx? Thanks!
 
They use a wider gear(hyvo)...won,t work.You need a yamaha 13 wide gear & chain to fit.
 
Thanks Turk! Just so I am sure and don't buy the wrong thing....the SRX's use a hyvo gear which would require me to replace the chain?

I am currently running a 21/40 with 70L chain. I want to run a 23/38 so I can keep my chain. Is this a 15 wide chain on the SX? What other models can I swap gears with? (Any others from the "SX" family?)
 
Viper & SRX sleds use the hyvo. Everything else basically uses the 13 wide.
 
Thanks, that makes it pretty simple then!

In terms of the splines, will they all interchange in that regard???
