Short of risking a fatality with a tempa-flow, is there anything I can do get a more consistent powerband that my sled gives me when it's real cold. I sware anything above 20 dagrees and my sled feels like a dog, yet get in the low to negative numbers and it is an absolute beast.

I ran a Tempa flo on my 98,00 and 01 srx's with no troubles. I did did jet up the 00 to 01 specs. I have mine for sale if you are interested. $80 shipped in US.
If your thinking of going the Tempa Flow route then be very mindful of where you run the vent line for the unit.If you follow the directions in the kit and put it where it says then you have to be careful of how you hard you drive your sled after taking a trail side break or sitting for a short time.Even though the engine may be warm and up to temp the unit will lean the air/fuel mix out too much if you get into the throttle too much right off the bat,go ahead ask me how I know ( 2 burn downs ).
From what I remember though someone on here had a better way of routing the vent hose to actually take care of this little quirk but I had sold my Tempa Flow before I got a chance to try it so I cant comment on whether it works or not.
All that aside the benefit of having spot on jetting all the time is great.
Something else you might want to try too is the manually adjustable setup for the main jets, the name escapes me right now but it's been around for years. You use a small flat screwdriver to set the "jetting" for temps. It's basically the same idea as the Tempa Flow but not automatic and you don't mess with the float bowl vent lines.

is the dila jet any thing to do with this..... thats what i run?????
DIAL A JET!!!!!!!!!!
That's what I was thinking of but couldn't remember the name. They seem to be pretty fool proof just a manually adjusted mechanism rather than auto like the Tempa Flow.

Anybody that wants to try a dial a jet setup, I've got a triple set I'd sell for cheap. I think it's all there, the dials are a little used looking, but it was still working when I removed it.
