Hey all, i'm triple piping my sled and the can for the triples intefers with my battery. So i am thinking about removing my stock battery, and relocating a little smaller battery to the trunk on my sled. I would extend my battery cables back there. Any reasons i should not do this? I do not really need my electric start, but i figure since my sled came with a battery and the 300 watt charging system, i would still need a battery to run my powervalves and to create a load on the charging system to stabilize the system. How hard is it to remove my electric starter? How many amps do you think the starter pulls if i keep it? I was thinking about getting a motocycle battery like the one on my dualsport and using that. Anything bad about my idea?

Sled is 04 Viper Mountain.

Ride on! :winterrul

Not sure what seat you have. I mounted the battery in the trunk of my boss seat.
