Its closer to custom than stock, I suppose... does that qualify? lol...

Blue Chrome windshield, i like it... and Ski Doo SC10-III 136" out of an X package MXZ Renegade and track to go along with it (136x16x1.25)

Ok, got my plain Jane ride posted... whats out there that is really customized? :worth: :WayCool:

Looks sweet dont know if you tried that suspension yet but just wondering how much better it rides over stock suspension looking to replace my proaction in mine this season.

I havent tried it yet, heck, I havent even been on a Rev chassis Ski Doo to know what they ride like, I found this skid and track for sale over on the HardcoreSledder forum and it was in my price range for going 136" so thats what i ended up with. Guys say they ride nice. I was gonna go Mono-Shock out of a Warrior but couldnt find one that someone didnt want an arm and a leg for. M10's are a great ditch banging skid... a guy over on HCS has a Yami with an Edge skid and is always bragging about that, my Polaris friends talk highly of their Edge's too... It all depends on your fabrication skills and being able to get mounting hole location measurements... and money, lol...

this sled was disasembled when new and again about 10 times after that.

I just got mine running. Engine rebuild, cmplete suspention rebuild. I fabbed up some aluminum bushings for the W arm and installed greese fittings, replaced all bearings including the speedo bearing, replaced a few wheels, installed antiratchet drivers, fully clipped the track, and installed 162 studs. I also had the Bender pipes coated. I'm really looking forward to some snow. I'm waiting to try the NOS now that the track won't ratchet. Should be a hoot.

Not all 2004s only the "S" i believe.

sxr-x i must say thats the meanest looking viper i have seen in a long while! is it a trail sled or stickly race i would like to know what you have done to your suspension or any info on your sled including color and graphic color that you are willing to tell me i would really like my viper to look like yours if you dont mind, i live in canada and you live in the states so i dont think we would run into each other riding in the trails again wicked looking sled.

I actually bought it made for that purpose from some dealer??? dont know which one, but it was pretty crappy stuff, one ride and lost 2 of them, plus they are snap on, so if the a arm is not 100% true, they pop right off. Maybe most guys have perfect a arms, cant say that mine are, lol

New addition to the sled: my buddy has an 08 xp summit and bought simmons for it, said I could use his stockers until he sold the sled! They actually fit really well, just had to flip around the flanges on the ski. I will try and get pics tonights, i think it looks really good

Progold- The picture was taken 2 winters ago while it was in the improver stage. It is a stock viper susp. with srx shocks, lowered down with the limiter straps and spacers behind the transfer rods. The susp. works great. I have pulled a 1.1 60' on grass with that susp and roetin hornet trail studs. As far as the paint goes: The sides of the hood are black. The center section was the hard part. First a silver base coat was applied, next a black coat, next a crystalizer was applied to make the silver show through the silver giving a cracking through apperence, then a blue candy to make the silver a metalic blue, finally a few coats a clear. I used all house of color paint products. Oh I put down a vinyl tunning fork decal after the silver coat but the removing it before the clear revieling only the siver/blue. graphics are just a black/chrome set made up by a graphics company. Thanks for your interest. Eric "Porter Racing"

I put running board trim on mine. Used a torch to soften them up, and then a zip tie on the end of the fat ones to make sure they'd stay. Lasted a winter so far.
I had the sled on it's side to make some suspension adjustments, but you can really see the trim. I like the look, and it protects from pain chips. :)
