Front viper shocks on a sx

I have considered installing front viper shocks on my sx to get more ground clearance while not changing my radius rods and stearing rods. Will this create any problems?

I have a 01 SX700r and tried my buddies front Viper take offs and there is no difference in ride height. I take it you have the earlier SXr.
 
they will bolt on, you will need the rubber bushings to install in your bulkhead where the aluminum spacers are. also the toe will be off on the sled after you do this. the other thing that this will screw up is the front back preasure of the rubber bumper on your ski. lifting the sled will decrease preasure on the rear of the ski making a darting problem.

i would not just install the fronts, i would do all four. making the front higher even an inch will mess up your rear skids settings, as in front shock preload, tranfer rod gaps and strap lengths.
