does any one know where i can find some trick rear wheels.... i wanna go with a big wheel kit all pros and cons welcome....

oversize wheels

Can you run 8" wheels without hitting the rear heat exchanger on a trail sled? SRX or Viper with SRX exchanger?

8in, i have one set off my old viper and one off a rx1 i kinda partially parted out. the 8in will work with the heat exchangers, you should have guards on the rear if your nervous about it.

I am unsure as if your running the stock rear skidframe, it was not listed in the original post/question. You will be limited to 7.5" rear wheels along with 5.35" skidframe wheels, this will keep all the wheels in plane and keep the track even on the snow/ice surface, if you were to run 8 inch rear wheels then you need to raise up the rear axle by either using special offset rail extensions for use with 8 inch wheels or use a offset axle(which really isnt gonna gain you too much because the inside rear wheels are still stock). The thing behind using larger wheels is they allow the track to turn the radius alot easier taking less power to turn the track, this frees up parasetic drag. It works quite well and your hyfax will last 3 times longer because the clips get a little gap between the hyfax/rails. Try and use rear wheels with the 6 small skid wheels also replaced for the maximum benefit.

If you remove the cross shaft that is furthest back on the stock skid, you can get away with running a full 8" wide offset axel kit, without the rail extensions. I did it on mine.
