if any one has mounted a nos bottle under the hood of a 98 srx let me know... i cant seem to find a spot for it... im almost ready to run filter pods and use the air box spot but i like the air box for fresh cold air... i have a 2.5 pound bottle... pics would be great... this is a problem and i hope to get some feed back... thanks guys

You run an after market silencer, how about under the exhaust pipes between the silencer and the belly pan. It would bolt on an angle plus the pipes would keep the tank warm. Just a thought.

yea but they are stingers and they wrap around and take up that spot... that would be a good spot..... any more ideas

Any room on the pv servo side of the air box? i don't know what the bottle dimensions are, hood clearance....
I have seen the bottle installed right on top of the clutch cover

ill put the box back in to day and check hood clearance.... ill take some picks for some more ideas

I have mine on the clutch cover works good there, just heating the bottle is a problem. I heat it with a torch when i want to use it but I have some ideas to either run coolant around it or heat it with a heating pad.

some pics? if i do it would i put the nozzle towards me or the front??? my cluch cover slants towards the front but when i am hill climbing the juice would be at the wrong side or vise a versa on flatland...

If you put it on an angle, make sure that your bottle will support the angle you have it on. Some bottles only work upside down, some only work right side up. It does not matter for most bottles. It's just something to keep in mind.........
maybe you could hide it in the seat just a thought maybe too cold tho
This is were i mounted mine on the viper. I'm not sure if the srx pipes fill this area though.
