anyone know the compression ratio of a 2000 srx ...doesnt know the formula to know it

"trapped" compression is 6.5:1, at least the service manual says so
theoretical full stroke compression is....? dunno exactly. maybe mrviper will chime in.
here's formula to find out.
take full cc volume of 1 cylinder, which is 232cc (total # of engine cc's / the # of cylinders = cc volume per cylinder) and add what your trapped volume is...say 24cc for example, then divide that answer by the trapped volume (24cc).
(232 + 24) / 24 = 10.6666
...so 10.6:1 would be the full stroke comp ratio (example of course...not your engines actual spec)
mrviper or somebody else on here would probably know what the exact reading is.
