Are there any aftermarket shocks available for the 2001 SRX 700...Buddy broke the front shock on the rear skid...The one up by the W-Arm...and a new one from Yamaha is 382.00....They sure are proud of these shocks..So whats available as a direct bolt in and go ahock

sx-r or viper shocks. should be able to find them used pretty cheap. you have to change the limiter straps and transfer rods too, but you get a long travel skid.
if he doesnt want to longtravel it then any sx (short travel - not sx-r) shock will bolt in, but i believe you would want to re-use the srx spring.
betheviper has quite a few of the short travel shocks if i remember right, shoot him a pm.
