What would you guys suggest that the idle should be on a stock 02 Viper? It's at about 1500 but I was trying to adjust the throttle so that I was getting 100% throttle because I wasn't before and anything over 1500 doesn't sound right?
The throttle opening is adjusted at the cable. Don't make it too tight or the TORS will activate. The idle is on a seperate screw and 1500 is fine.

I know that is not the way to adjust idle I was trying to adjust the throttle so that it would be getting full throttle when I squeeze the throttle all of the way. What exactly does the TORS do?
help u if the throttle stick open :-)))

the tors retards the timing, so if the throttle is stuck open, or something, it starts killing the ignition, so you don't have a sled w/a ghost driving it.....lol. most guys (and myself) unplug this device, cause it can become a pita.
Idling them down from the stock setting helps keep them from the high idle condition that is common but makes them vibrate a little more. At 1800 the Viper is the smoothest, and quietest idling engine out there.

Oh, and the first time I adjusted it I fired it up and then it was idling around 1800 then it started going up to 2000 by itself then jumped up to 4000 and then I shut it off adjusted it a bit then it stayed around 1700 or 1800
