I was riding my sled at about 90mph last winter, and all of the sudden I heard a noise. I flipped the sled over and the track was so loose that it was hitting the tunnel. I tightened it up, and then i kept feeling a bad vibration. I took out the suspension and everything looked good. The W arm isn't cracked. The track that was on it, came from a 97 polaris. Could something inside the track to cause it to loosen up so much? The track appears to be normal on the surface. The shaft that the drivers are on seem tight, so I don't think it's the bearings on the pto side or the chain case side. What else could cause a track to loosen up so much? I rode it the whole day before on slower trails at 30-40 mph with no problems.

Check your track tensioner bolts. I noticed one of mine that one of the bolt threads was stripped down to nothing and my track was loose. Not sure how that happened because you always loosen your axle nut when you adjust your track tension.
