I'm curious as to how a viper would sound with this set up and if anyone has done it, do you have a video or sound clip of it. I want the sled to sound better, that is my main objective not performance or weight reduction but those would be a plus, I don't feel like spendin' the cash on a can. Also do you have pictures or instructions on how you did it?

do you mean the drilling the baffles Mod??? There are a few videos on youtube of them i think, or do you mean completely gutting the can?

I don't think you can do the "drilling mod" on a Viper.

For the time and pain in the *** it`s going to take to mod the viper exhaust you can get a good mbrp race can for about 150 and they sound sweet.

$150? Where is that? I would do that in a heart beat I thought most of them were $400- $500 and the MBRP race can would be my #1 choice against of makers.

I know it says you gain a half of a horsepower but I have heard that sometimes the different backpressure loses a lot of performance. And, also do I have to re-jet for this or no?
Ryan, you will not need to re-jet with a MBRP can. I am not shure where you are in Ontario, but MBRP is located in Huntsville. They have a very nice facility. I was there a couple of weeks ago.

I am only about 3 hours from there so might just buy direct from there cuz shipping won't be that much, but I will check with the local dealer first.
