Hey guys,
It seems like I need to buy two new belts. I blew one on my last trip, and I had a spare ultimax 3. So I put it on, And the squealing strarted. The sled would move on it's own. So I popped open the hood and realized it was WAY to short. I never noticed as I put it on, B/c I was in a rush in the middle of a lake with everyone way in front of me now.
What belt should I use? the yamaha one, Or the ultimax 3 or XP replacement?

The 8DN is a fairly hard compound and lasts a long time. Personally, I have never blown an 8DN belt but that is all I run. If you are using clutching recommended on this site, chances are it was spec'ed using the OEM belt. The ultimax and others are softer and shift characteristics will be different than the 8DN.
Ok 8DN it is! Settled. Thanks guys.

i always had trouble w/the ultimax belts blowing, but never a problem w/yammi belts. stick w/oem like previously stated.
