anybody else have fitment issues w/cpr pipes on a '00 700 sxr? we were installing them on my buddies sled tonight, and the pipe for the pto cylinder, doesn't line up to the silencer for it. the end of the main pipe, is down too far (like 1" or so), so the end of the silencer doesn't butt up to it properly. right now, it aims at the chassis part (right above the recoil). what gives? anybody else have troubles? also, the pipe for the mag cylinder, hardly fits in there at all. you really have to push/pull/tug/tap/etc to make it fit. and the connections (especially the pipe to manifold) seems like a place for leakage. i'm going to be appling some hi-temp rtv silicone to that. F'kn JUNK!! i knew he should have gotten aaens.

Your prolly not putting something in the right spot or right way. Manifolds have to be on a certain way or youll have flow and alignment issues, look inside the exhaust ports. Then hop on Hauck's website and take a look at the pic they have posted. I just finished a sandblast/repaint/fitment on these pipes a few days ago. First time I didnt get it, saw the pic and had in the second try.I also fab'd up aluminum plate for the exhaust hole cause they were melting the plastic.

Never had em on an SXr, but I did run em on my Viper and they where tight. Talk about "spaghetti" !, on my sled you definitely had to go step by step and then everything will suddenly fall into place.

yep, i called cpr and they said i need to cut/grind a clearance hole in the aluminum brace, that's right above the recoil, for the silencer to fit thru and connect to the mag pipe.

Been a while since I had the CPRs, but I'm pretty sure I had the Pipe/Stinger connected on all three pipes before I put them on. They fit goofy, but they did perform good. :2strokes: :bling:
