This is the best I can do. It's from my 2000 manual for a 700 red head. It may not be exact but it should put you close. You want to connect the two plugs that the #2 is pointing at, together.

well, i went through everything and couldnt get it to stop, bypassed the tors and it works perfect. Thanks guys

Now all you need to do is figure out which switch is Fubar and replace it.

yeah, it still puzzles me why it never gave me problems until I broke the throttle cable and replaced it. must have messed with some wiring?

I would start at the carb end. Simple continuity test with multimeter.
