They should come off.

they are pressed on. If you can manage to get the snap ring off on the inside you can remove the wheel and then use a puller on the bearing. Otherwise, I've always had to beat them off.

usually a dead blow hammer and a few good whacks will get them off.

i beat one off pretty sure the wheel and bearing are toast now ,will bring the shaft to my buddies tomorow he has a press and will try to get the other one off.the only reason i did take them off is that i was tightning up the rear suspension the way that BETHEVIPER listed in one of his threads used the coffee can trick and tighten up the skid ,worked awsome .

4x4 and a sledge hammer
Most of the Viper rear carrier (what they are called) wheels do not have a snap ring. The wheel is molded around a bearing. So when the bearing goes, the wheel is junk too. They are a standard size (or very close) that many online sites carry for about $20 with bearing and snap ring.
If they are stuck real bad, I heat the bearing until the wheel starts to melt and then knock the wheel off the bearing. Then I heat the bearing a little more and knock it off with a hand-held sledge hammer.

What about putting everything back together?,i was thinking about putting the shaft in the frezzer over night to shrink enough to tap the bearing and wheel into place i hope this works if not it`s going to be a hell of a job to get those wheels and bearings back on , any advice would be great.

I always use gray antiseize when installing most things. This way u won't have to fight 1/2 as hard to get them of next time.

i got theme off just wondering how i am goin to get them back on because where the wheel and bearing go on the shaft the shaft gets a little bigger to where the wheel and bearing go this is how i came to realize that they must have been pressed on from factory ,i am doing all this work in my spare room in my basement so dont have access to a press so there must be an easier way to put them back on someone must have done this change before especially if you changed your transfer rods so if anybody has any tricks of hints or ideas please chime in i will be open to anyones advise ,,,thanks

Place the wheel with bearing on the shaft as far as it will go. Then put the steel collar on the end and thread the shaft bolt in. Tighten it and it will press the bearing/wheel onto the shaft.
Edit: I just did this on a friends machine today. I had to use a longer bolt from an idler wheel to get it started. Tightened it until the collar seated which was still not fully pressed in place. Removed the bolt and placed a large nut or stack of washers on the bolt to gain more threads and threaded it in again to fully seat the bearing. While installing you need to thread a bolt into the opposite end and tighten it down and hold it with a wrench to keep the shaft from spinning.
Cheers!
