Has anyone cured this noise yet? True blue, JJsRX1 are you out there!
The o-rings and 'special'(groove cut in back to hold o-ring) sliders go on one side of the spider, the stock sliders go on the opposite. This was a big issue on the 4-strokes so you may wan't to do some reading over there. search 'clutch rattle', should get lots of reading. The stock slider should probably go on the side carrying the load, so the left side when the arm is up.

trueblue...get in touch with rich from this site.He will get you any part you desire.I priced out them sliders with the o-rings..way expensive..so I just got the regular ones instead.Go to Yamaha Parts.com or any other site where you can look up the part #'s.I just listed the part 3's to rich and he ordered them for me.
And as for clutch dis-assembly..I made up my own jig for taking sheaves apart. I had a write up on it,but don't think I can find it now.
