Has anyone used Woody's Slim Jim Dooly wear bars? My wifes 2001 600 dlx darts terribly and I might try a pair of these. I have already checked ski alignment, and have added the wedge under the aft portion of the ski pad, this helped but she still darts.

My xc600 used to dart a little, and I simply went to stud boy shaper bars. That fixed it, and it uses a single bar type runner.
We used the dually's on the XCR, and it fixed the darting, but it made the steering a lot more effort. That was no issue to me, but my father did not appreciate the extra effort.
What skis do you have on the 01 600 DLX? The darting got better when I added srx plastic skis to the venture to replace the stock steel skis with skins. I think I can get rid of the rest of the darting with shaper bars and a little more preload on the front shocks.

She has the oem plastic ski's, my 99 sx has the GYTR ski's and it darts some also. Hey we have snow now. 4 inches on our front deck this morning. Getting ready.

Haven't tried the new slim jim dooly's yet, but we've got 5 SX 700's and all are running dooly's w exception of the one with the steel skiis. I had some problems crossing railroad tracks and occasionally loading, watch the tracks it will put you over the handlebars, but have generally been very satisfied. Had some mounting studs snap, and Woody's stood behind them sent me two new sets. Still have one hanging on the wall, they wear real well in addition.
New slim Jim's just arrived today, they look extremely well built. I am hoping I can get a set for my 99 700 sx. They do not have a listing for this model.??? My son's sled is the venerable Phazer II long track. This sled never has had a darting problem, carves in the corners runs as fast as any other 500 and is the most dependable. What gives with the newer suspension systems???
