I got an 01 Vmax that I really need to do something with the suspension this year...I've gone through 2 sets of kimpex golds in the front 3 being shafts and 1 that's limp as a goose right now. My main question is I've got a 02 xtra-12 from an edge chassis sitting at my house with the Fox PPS Shocks. I have my rear shock cranked as high as the spring will go and when I stand on it it sags bad and never returns to full height unless I pick the *** end up. (I only weight about 160 btw) So rather than getting a sets of ohlins for the rear. I was thinking I would just pay one of the guys at my local shops to revalve and recharge the floats and just drop the xtra in. I can make all the reinforcement brackets at work on the mill from left over stock so that no cost.
I have the donor sled for bolt hole locations unless someone has a template already kicking around...
