This winter if my srx doesnt sell i plan on setting it up for ice drag racing. I was wondering what people have had the best results with as far a hookup on glare ice, and how many of them they had to use. Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks

Chisel pick is the only way to go for ice drags. Its a pain to get them all pointed the same way but well worth it.

i was thinking about trying the 30 degree drag eliminator. It looks a lot like a sharpened pensil. Has anybody had any experience with these??

I use a combination of both push-through Drag Eliminators and Chisel Tooths. The colder, harder the ice more Eliminators the warmer, softer the ice more Chisels. Both studs work great.

Triple x nailed it!! Depends on ice conditions.. I run a few hooker plates on my set up along with the picks and chissels..

Push thru chisels. Good no matter what conditions. 1.200 x 7mm woody's can't beat them. Just make sure you don't run the track too loose or they will get into the exchanger and in the tunnel where the protectors stop. Or run a speed track and put 1 1/4 protectors in. 192 will work and 240 will hook no matter how bad the ice is chewed.
