Mpg Of Viper?

Wow, those unpiped numbers are pretty low. Mine wasn’t that bad. That closer to my old Polaris XLT. I ride pretty had and to be honest the 14mpg is dog'n it, 12 is more realistic.

Getting 10mpg piped would be a dream come true. What jets are you running? Not that I can switch as I’m reading pretty lean as it is, but I’m curious.

I when stock seen 13 14 mpg all the time, slp piped 10 11 mpg running hard. I have nothing to gain with lying or stretching the truth. The only change I made to slp jetting specs were bigger nozzles which would be worse for fuel mpg. It did seem some vipers were better than others since day 1 reading posts from here.

Lol, my Mnt. Viper with SLP pipes and flo-rites mountain riding, ie., hill climbing and powder meadows, gets very low 6mpg every time I've ever checked it. 10 would be a dream!

We have a 2002 Viper that gets 15-18 mpg .

I would regularly get 16-17 trail riding, always about one less than the Warrior I would ride with.

Oh, and much less running ditches or powder.

sea level would be my jetting. sorry for taking to long to respond but like I said what would I have too gain on lying? My house burnt down friday and can't remember jetting specs but slp were good and I ran that thing in warm weather cold still same motor at 6'000 miles no problem. good luck and maybe some have bad ones or I have a good one, sorry I'm shouldn't have posted I'm alittle on the pissy side if it seems like I want a fight I apologize.

THANX! angus I built and designed house myself so there's alot of hurting going on and now I can't wait to build the same house so things get back to normal. I shouldn't of said anything but it could of been worse and the family is ok. It only happened a week ago 11/14/08 I just thought I would read some posts and take my mind of of things.
