depending on what sled your putting in it may very well be worth the effort. rear suspensions have progressed in ride quality over the years. i put a vmax skid in a srv, made a world of difference in ride quality. also put a srv skid in an old enticer, again, better ride. the vmax skid is no plush ride by any means, but far above the earlier models, and yet way behind current models.
