Im thinking of makeing a set of aluminum or carbon fiber upper and lower control rods. Just wondering if i can do with out the bushings and use ball ends on both ends of the rods would make it alot easyer to make and also replace.
Are you talking about the front suspension radius rods? My mpi ones have heim joints on each end. Works great.

yep same thing. thanks
if you want to make something really light, use rubber bushings in both ends, heim joints are heavy.

good idea I wasnt aware that i could do that. I thought that it needed a ball end in case it wasnt a even load( hard to explain)

Use aluminum heim joints on both ends they are lighter. Unlike most that you get they use the stock inner ends. If the price is right I would be interested.
