looking for good tips to remove track on a 2000 srx so i dont have a hard time changing stock with studs to 1.25 with no studs

take your time! another thing people dont realize is there is no need to take apart the ebrake assembly... you can slide the caliper and rotor/case together.

how do you get chain case off with brake assemble together its all unbolted trying to slide off any info please

The parking brake can stay on the caliper *** has to come off.Lift the coolant bottle up a little so it is out of the holder with a screwdriver.

chain case housing off
all chain case bolts off
chain lower gear off
lossen belt side bearing ( inside tunnel)
speedo pickup off
move belt side bearing to slide axle toward the chain side to slide out
others , please comment. I cannot recall exactly . it's been a while
but the brake assembly came with the case and did not need to be removed
one great trick to get track back in is lay sled on its side ( no affect of gravity)
this is the best hint I have ever received !! after hours of lifting, tugging, swearing, wrench chucking.......... tiped the sled on its side and slid the skid right into position
