will a primary from a 97 sx700 work on a 98 srx?i know the weights and spring are diffrent but is the body-sheaves the same?
yes the guts are the olny differance between the 2 clutches

The clutch cover for a 98 SRX is different from the 97 SX. The 98 cover is made to use a longer spring. You can use the 97 sx clutch on a 98 SRX as long as you use the shorter clutch springs for the 97. Or, you could swap covers the 98 onto the 97 and use SRX springs.
