do you have to remove the two tunnel protectors or just the front heat exchanger protectors ,looks like tunnel protectors ore close

You can leave them all on. It may rub slightly but it'll be OK. If you have a loose one, like I did, remove it because it will tap every time the lug hits it.

Dave are you going to run studs? If so what size? I have a 1.25 ripsaw on my 98 and was thinking of installing studs so I was just curious.
Don't know if you are planning to or not, but I wouldn't run studs without protectors, especially front exchanger protectors. Ask anyone who has had the thrill of changing out a front exchanger.

Well said, I removed mine to throw in my ripsaw, and run no studs.
