The older metric versions of the m-10 are ski-doo I believe, but I'm not sure which profile.

if you want the exact ones, they come from a 96 formula III or mach1. they are hard to find in stock anywhere. I took a grinding disk and ground down the sides of each rail about 1/32 on each side, then chamfered everything with a file and smoothed the edges off. This will make a stock yamaha slide fit right on.

M10 Hyfax
I bought a used standard m10 (2001 or newer with new style slider block system) that I am reconditioning for my Viper. I slid some old hyfax from my old '96 VMAX-XT and they slid on, but were loose side-to-side.
BTV - which M10 do you have, and when you say stock Yammi hayfax fits, are you talking about the stock Viper P-Action hyfax? These may be different than my old VAMX slides.
I am hoping I can use the newer Yammi slides since I have a new set up at the lake.
Thx !!!

I went to a local shop and it was ski-doo hyfax. I just took off the old what was left and matched it as good and I could.
I have a early version that is metric.
I think the American version is polaris.

FYI - Make sure the Hyfax is a tall-enough profile, and watch the rear shock bottom eyelet clearance to the track. I just bought a used M10, and when I removed the rear shock during the skid overhaul, this is what I found. I called FAST and sent pics to them, and they said the damage was from using the wrong Hyfax. Will cost me $45 for the bottom cap, and the cost to replace oil and recharge the shock. About $100 in damage to save a little on hyfax....not a good deal IMHO.
I bought the correct Hyfax from a Polaris dealer. It is really thick, and is for the Edge chassis w/M10. The dealer knew exactly what I needed as soon as I said "M10". Not cheap though, $19.99 / side. You know its correct because the surface of the installed hyfax is level with the rear wheels at the back. I will post a pic showing what I mean a little later tonite.
Ride safe, and keep the rubber side down !!!
