ok so i figered out my secondary has a 51 43 helix with the red yamaha spring ive dried all diffrent set ups i can do with this in the secondary and its still over reveing the lighter i go with spring tention the longer it takes but its still getting to 10000 rpm faster than i want and i know its not right, wat dose anyone sugest i do with the primary and wat weights can i put in if someone can get back to me before too i could order the parts today before 2

What is your exact set up right now & what are the rpm,s from a dead stop to full out?

the primary has the stock weights 8dg00 i couldent find out wat the rivets are cause theres no numbers on them with a yellow green yellow spring the secondary has a 51-43 helix a yamaha red spring with the spring set at 0 on the helix and 1 in the clutch and a idle the sled is about 1800rpm the clutch engages at 4000 rpm and it will hit 10000 rpm under 1000' foot run at w.o.t

8dg weights are from a 600 sx. is this what your driving?

You gotta
change inner rivet in the 8dg to a 4.5
put back the stock helix & secondary spring
rpm.s will then be bang on.

ok how much do u think it would be for weights and a new helix,? and i was offerd a brand new comet clutch weighted and calibrated to my specs 300$ do you think i could do anything with a new primary and the set up i have on my secondary or do u think i should return it to stock?

Based on the info you've given, you don't need new weights or a helix. Pick up three rivets at the dealer and swap them like was recommended. Then look on the tech pages and see what the stock helix was for your sled. Then look around here in the classifieds for a used one, or post a wanted to buy in that section. You'll have less than $100 into it with shipping, and it will run the right rpms. Problem solved. It's your sled, and your money so I guess it's up to you...

ok i understand wat you are saying and it makes sence i could probly trade a freind of mine my helix for a stock one but the thing that im hanging up on it my primary spring is worn flat on both ends a little bit (im not sure if this is normal or if it need to be replaced) and all the weights on the primary are worn so ide like to replace them too, so im trying to weight it out if i have to by springs and weights and maybe if i have to pick up a helix i know it wont be less than 200( are local yamaha dealer is a criminal ) and im still runnging a stock clutch setup so this is why i sugested could i make something work with an aftermarket primary and the my aftermarket helix that i have now and get better perphormance out of my sled because if i gotta start putting a bunch of new parts in the primary i could easly burn up that 300$ and im dealing with a clutch that has 9000km on it apose to 0km , were as if i can get a kick *ss setup out of a new clutch i mise well make use of the offer made and the parts i have, ide also like to make my buddies with 700sx and a 700vmax cringle lol, and i mean no disrespect to anyone that gave me advice and help as it is greatly apretiated, so i donno wat to do as i am very new to this lol (maybe a month lol) ide love to hear wat you guys would do and hear your opinions on it and thanks again
