From what i here stock gearing is to high for stock sled, Can i change just my top gear from 23/37 to 21/37 in a 1999 srx will it fit with stock chain and what top end will i get around ?
OR should i go 23/40 and will it fit stock chain and what top end?, dont have cash to get 2 gears and chain wife will kill me lol, so wilL one of these set ups work for me or should i wait?
ps: LOOKING FOR MORE ACCELERATION ON A SMALL BUDGET

I wouldn't go that route.. I'd lean towards a 39 or 40 tooth lower gear for the trails..
OK so with 23/39 what speed will i see on stock srx 700 and will i see a noticable difference in acceleration, also what would be a good allaround helix for my stock srx

68 LINK CHAIN WILL WORK WITH EITHER GEAR COMBO YOU GO WITH. 23-40 TAKES 70 LINK CHAIN. 3:16 (yammie tony)

When you gear down (numerically higher) you get more acceleration... and opposite for gearing up.. less acceleration. more top end mph. You cant really put a mph on it many variables in a sled.. with clutching, weight, trail condition... Still plenty fast for trails though.. =)
i race on lakes most the time and it is not plowed just packed from sleds raceing there, so most of the time it is lose snow, so will i see a increase in speed in 2500 feet gearing down because it is geared to fast to start with, i dont race in perfict conditions but would like to see 105-110 if i can more often. also should i change my helix and witch helix will work for me sled is stock ?

I wouldnt spend your money on gearing i dont think your gona get anymore on top then with a 23/37 spend more time on clutching. Do a search on here there is lots of posts on this
whats your setup know??

MY Sled is stock with MBRP can, 144 studs and 4800 engagement spring. I am 195 pounds, so what helix would help me out?

I know you did not ask about this, but you are losing mph with that MBRP can. I had one on my 98 SRX and made it a total pooch on top end! Sold that can after one weekend of use.

take off the mbrp can stock is supposed to be better
Get yourself a 51/43 rx1 helix they can be aquired fairly cheap on here.
If you do a search on 51/43 srx you should find alot of info

I put a 51-40 helix on mine and added weight to the stock weights and also geared down one tooth on the top and it woke up my sled. I still pulled 116mph on gps. I am know gearing even lower and got the primary machined for overdrive to get to my top end even faster.
use a 24/40 13 wide
