thanks
Make sure they are adjusted correctly also. Search for "power valve" under the username Daman. He has a great, easy to understand post about it.

I've seen worse too but i'd clean em up better then that, you can get them
spotless no carbon left, sea foam won't touch the carbon on these P'Vs not
a strong enough solvent you'll need a stronger cutter like something that
works on carbon or i use paint stripper.
then like Nik stated adjust them..

well i was looking at the ypvs i noticed that one of the cables was loose so i pulled on it come to find out it was snapped so im just gonna take the sled to the garage and have them do all the work lol i have a 1995 artic cat zr 580 that i blew up last year im selling off to some one 200 bucks that should cover most of the bill the garage is gonna cost.
Those two top cables look brand new also. I wonder why the previous owner didn't replace all three is two broke.

Be an easy fix if you would want to takle it your self and with the help
from this site?? good luck if not.

Yeah, LOL! it's a simple fix. Even I can do it! I thought I would just post that CLR works really good for removing the carbon. I let mine sit in a CLR 50% to 50% water mix over night. The next morning my finger nail took it off. Of course after I let it dry for a few mins, I guess the CLR lifted and dried out the carbon!
