enclosed trailer, inline or side by side???

well i am going to look on Saturday, The inline makes sense. 14" rims fenders outside the wall, lower center of gravitly. I really see no problem with loading, it is probably easier. just one in front of the other. We only have 3 sleds and do not plan on 4. Not sure if it is steel frame or alum. Steel if stronger, alum does not rust. What do you think?

Aluminum all the way.

Yep this is where I made the mistake but for what I payed for my trailer and the condition it was in for a 02, I thought it was worth it for the time I bought it. Its to bad Timberwolf Trailers went out of business cause there trailers were really nice inside and outside even for being a steel trailer. Inline's tow nice thats for sure.

this is the specs, 27' triple axle alum. frame and skin. the add says 4 place but i do not believe 4 will fit. I have 2 SX chassie and 1 Phazer long track. Triple axle is way over kill. Not sure if brakes on all axles.

Is the 27' including the v-nose? A buddy has an inline, I think that it's 23' plus the v-nose and he puts his three Apexs and a Nitro, along with his snowblower, in it. If you load them in backwards (put the first one all the way to the front) and stagger they should fit.

I ended up buying a 24' side by side, low profile. All aluminum Rance renegade. It pulled very easy home although empty. Thanks for all of your input. Al

I had a US Cargo 4 place side by side steel trailer for seven. It was a great trailer and I enjoyed having it. The last two years I have been pulling a three place aluminum inline and I like it much better. The inline is by far the better trailer. It’s easier to load because it’s lower to the ground, it’s easier to pull because it’s lower and narrower and it just looks cooler. I pull it with a 04 Ford Super Duty Power Stroke and I pulled my four place with a GMC Yukon. I never had any sway problems with ether trailer.
The bottom line is that I don’t think you will be disappointed with either trailer. There’s nothing better than an enclosed trailer but if you’re asking which on is better, I’m putting my money on the inline.

I just got to reply, I worked on and sold trailers from 1982 +
if your looking to haul 3 sleds a 7x22 (17+5) would haul 3 long tracks
and pull alot nicer then a 8.5
My opinion is for sleds a 7" wide is the best over all option
1.5 feet narrower and @ 1.5 feet shorter height (low profile sucks working in)
LOTS easier to see around, dont always have drivers with trailer experience behind the wheel
trailer for trailer a 7w needs to be @ 3 feet longer
the 8.5 trailers work great for ATV's also, but for just sleds 7 wide
people that have had both all have agreed with this
a 7 x 22 + 5 foot nose would haul 4 sleds easy
and a triple would be WAY over kill!
have a customer with a 7 x 19 + 5 hauls a 144 switch back and 3 other poos
like I said just my opinion but have customers opinions to also back up this.

I will post some pictures when I can, I changed all of the tires and rims, added some interior lighting, and repaired all lights on outside, I also checked the brakes and bearings. I upgraded the tires to 6 ply tires.
