'02 Phazer 600

Can someone give me the finer points of this sled, I have one I may be able to buy. '02 Mint 600 150 miles always inside. So far I've only seen pictures. Should this be a triple? elec start reverse? suspension - good - fair? Any input would be welcome.
 
yep theres no such thing as a 2002 Phazer 600, well, there is no Phazer 600, there only 500's and were only made from '99-'01 and before that they were the old style ones with the fairing windshield. Unless he's talking about a Vmax 600, then yes, it should be tripple
 
they could have did that if thats all they could find, but then wouldnt they at least strip off the stickers? but there wasn't an '02 Phazer, the newest ones other than 4 strokes is a 2001, but that might'a been a typo to, but either way, theres no '02 600 Phazer

Yeah I think someone gave me a bum steer. I have a picture it is a front shot showing the 600 Triple and Trail performance on lettering each side. also obvious is that it has mirrors and skid plate. it's blue with silver lettering and appears perfect from this view. are these a good groomed trail sled? how much hp? I've only had one yamaha and it was an old enticer 250 for the kids to play on. Thanks again, all input is welcome John
 
Yep, Vmax 600. Has the mirrors so it's likely the deluxe. Deluxe included the mirrors, e-start and reverse. Red head 600 triple is one of Yamaha's most reliable 2-strokes.

I would be on my toes if this is a craigslist or similar ad. The owner shouldn't just 'confuse' Phazer with Vmax.
