Today I ripped around on the 09 yamis on a snowcross track in duluth. I rode the rs venture, vector se, nytro rtx se, nytro rtx and the nytro xtx. This is the first time on both the nytro rtx se and the xtx. After all this, I am positive my next sled will be a 4 stroke. Rtx se was noticeably better in the bumps, over a rtx. If you have the option, and are looking at one of these sleds......now is the time....wow!!!! The se is a notch above the rest. As far as the xtx goes...I am not quite sure what to think. It does bridge bumps better, but that comes with some push out of the corners. It did hook up a little better then other nytros, but nothing major. I would have to take it out in the powder, before I jumped on the band wagon!!! Oh I am a 5,8 160 pound rider. Well my 2 cents.... :yrules:
 
I rode the 09 nytro XTX last winter at Cruiserfest in Minocqua. I was VERY impressed. I also rode the 08 nytro rtx and normal Nytro. Those were very impressive as well, but I like the 09 XTX the best. What does the rtx SE do better than the regular rtx??

When I have the means, my next sled will be a 4 stroke, hopefully a nytro, but I would settle for an apex.

The nytro's are the closest to a hi po 2 stroke I have found. Plus the exhaust note of the Inline 3 4 stroke is intoxicating.
 
The se is set up to be the closes thing to a factory race sleds.....or so they say. It has 3 way fox floats......it rides better then any nytro I have ridden.

So does it ride stiffer, or just have more suspension available to use than the regular rtx??
 
It soaked up the bumps better then the rtx. Not any stiffer that I could tell. I think that everything else is the same other then settings and shocks....But there seemed to be a big difference...

Hmm, Sounds like I would like the SE a lot then. I just really liked the XTX quite a bit. The minor push the longer track causes could easily be tweaked out with better runners ( shaper bars are my choice), and I really like the longer track for ride quality and traction.
 
Yea... lol... who hasn't been to lover's lookout? I was actually a track worker for the Duluth National. I worked in the corner entering the whoops on friday and saturday...
 
There are some extra rear skid braces inthe SE as well. I'm not aware of all the differences but the main ones are the extra bracing and the shock package. They were spring order only.
