Got to a 150-330 primary polaris sping or epi and get some super tips or heavy hitters.That will be the bigest improvment if he wants more get a D&D y pipe and single pipe along with a boondocker box.

Off topic here whats the angle on your helix ,i own a 02 viper and was thinking about going with a 53/43 helix and a green spring,but i do see in your avatar that you own a srx your helix is probably to agressive for my stock viper.
 
Hey guys thanks for all this info i will have to start writting everthing down so i dont forget lol,i think my nephew will bussy for a while with all this info trying witch combo will better suit his ridding style.

if he gets that d&d y pipe can he use his stock exhaust pipe he does have a mbrp can on the sled?

No "alot" they had some issues just like any other company, hell the phazer had problems with running boards, SRX with motors (cranks) at the begining. Dont be so quick to make judgement, skidoo on the other hand......

Cat had a lot of blown F7s their first year, I bet more than any other first year sled. There is no doubt about them being fast, a 140hp 700 stock single piped twin is quite impressive, but there is also no mistaking the amount of issues they had at first.


Skidoo has had a lot of issues as of late with motors, I guess most notably the 800 twins. Polaris had a lot of issues with the storms, which is party why they renamed them XCR's later, even though they were not a ditch banger style sled, and really a lake runner.
