Are there any charts on here that show you the different yamaha springs availabel along with their shift rate?

I have a solid orange p-spirng, but I dont know if its a Maxx. Perf. spring or a Hauck spring.

sorry guys i am not selling any parts yet, i havent started tunning since i am waiting for gears still. besides their is nowhere near enough hard packed snow around here to try and tune, we are just these past 2 weeks getting alot of loose snow falls. Maby once i try a few set ups some unwanted parts may come up for sale.. lol its the name of the game, sometimes it costs money to learn the hard way...lol if i dont have anything for sale then you will know that i liked the combo.
What difference or effect would you see in a 51/43 Helix vs a 53/47? I had 2 SRX's with somewhat similar clutching but work completely different and one is very hard on gas. Could a very small change in the Helix make much difference? Below are my 2 setups. Same gearing on both sleds.
00 SRX 700 : Barely pulls 8100-8300 and hard on fuel. Also bad backshift.
8BU-00 4.5g in tip Total weight 53.2g
ywy Primary spring with 2 engagement shims (Rate 2.5kg/mm)
Green Secondary 60deg twist
53/47 Helix
98 SRX 700 Pulls 8500, maybe even slight overrev. Great gas mileage and backshift.
DPY 55.5 G weights
Dalton Black/Blue spring (Rate 2.33 kg/mm)
Green Secondary with 60deg twist
51/43 Helix

Thanks for the info Turk. Generally, how does a steeper angle helix act vs a shallow angle? Say a 50 vs 45. Would it be faster up-shift but not as great backshift? I'm thinking of trying the 51/43 again.

yes, a steeper angle upshifts quicker than a shallower angle. the shallower the angle, the better backshift. also, the shallower the angle, the more side force translated into the sheaves and into the belt....better belt grab. steep angles don't provide as much force to hold onto the belt, so rule of thumb is to use stiffer secondary springs when using steep helixs.
I found info on stock SRX clutch setup. Below is what was listed for the primary weights. What does the 17.2 and 13.9 stand for?

17.2 and 13.9 is the length of the rivits 17.2 is 4.5grams 13.9 can't remember.rivit specs are in the tech section under clutching

So in 2000 SRX's came stock with the rivets in the 8DN-20's? How was the stock SRX clutching overall?

13.9mm long steel rivet is 3.6g.
stock '00 srx's came w/8dn-20's w/4.5g (17.2mm) outer and 3.6g (13.9mm) inner hole.
