03 Viper starts and runs perfect, Carbs cleaned. Only problem is when it's warm you have to touch the throttle a bit when pulling it over to get it to start. Any idea how to correct this ? Thanks for any help guys.

I heard it's a common problem for triples. Seen posts for this in the past. You may want to try to search for it. I'm sure others will chime in. I know I have to do this with my Venom sometimes.

Some do some don't. I've never once done that with my 03 Viper. You can't get my bro's Ski-Doo started without doing it though. Nature of the beast?

My buddy's SXR needs the throttle, My srx Starts on the first pull not throttle every single time!

after years of running yamaha sleds, doesnt matter single, twin, or tripple, it has become second nature to me to give a little sqeeze on the happy trigger while pulling the rope. kinda like putting your foot on the pedal when starting your truck.

I almost always pull start my SXR with just a little bit of throttle, this way it'll start with just one revolution of the motor, only time I give it a full pull is when it's cold. My wife is not strong enough to pull her 500 SXR over with one arm, so we turned her idle up just enough so it'll catch and start easier.

My 02 viper is always tuned to the max and runs wicked and always needs a touch of the throttle to start when she is warm there is nothing wrong with this just the nature of the beast.
