I am registering my new to me 2000 SRX 700 and the motor ID associated w/ the chassis doesn't match the motor id of the motor currently in the sled. I called Yamaha and they said that the ID wasn't in there records. I also asked them to verify if this tunnel ID had any warranty claims associated w/ it and they said there were not any. Any thoughts?
whats the eng number? someones probally done a case swap at 1 time from ablown engine. It should be a 8dn

8dn is correct. I wouldnt sweat it not matching the tunnel, I have seen many,many,many of them that dont match, it doesnt matter as long as you have it written down, the sled will be registered off the tunnel vin anyways.
