Helix for a MM with Heelclikers?

Is there anyone here who might know what helix to use with heelclickers on a 2001 MM with reed stopper mod and hauck headgasket? It has 142,5 jets and 21/40 gearing and stock track drivers and track.

So far I have 4,2 grams in heel (I don't remember exactly) and 4 grams in the middle. I have the 43 deg stock helix in there now but I haven't got to test it yet. Springs are red hc spring in primary and hauck green spring in secondary at 70 deg.
 
If I'm adrian then you're Henriette. I'm in Bergen now but I am going home for christmas. Now I hope you got a helix suggestion?? :P
 
Never ran them in the mtns but would think you would need a really shallow angle for mtn or high elevation or a small straight angle.What's your elevation there?
 
It's low, like 300 ft over sea level. The shallowest angle I have is a 43.

I tried my stock MM700 -00 with the 51/43 before I put the pipes on and in my opinion it was a lot better than stock responswise. Milage drops though.

All these advantages and disadvantages... :dunno: :)

i was thinking you where over 7000ft.I have ran heel clickers on stretched out sxr's with the singe pipes.So it's basically the same sled you got.
Being a long track i would go with a 45-39 or even a shallower finish angle yet.Not shure what you have for helixes to work with.Going with a strit 43 yes it will have some holeshot but you will be giving up a lot of mph vs a multi angle.

Springs: Red and grey heelcliker
Red, green yamaha springs, hauck green and red
 
those are pretty steep helixes for powder riding a single pipe red head engine.Unless your going to get a different helix I would stay with the 43.
 
if your riding mtns or lot's of powder I would use a green or silver yami sec spring.
 
UPDATE:
I tried the first set up in this thread (43 degree helix) and it works good, no more overrev. Just got in. Merry Christmas
 
48/42 works real well with the yamaha green spring at ~60 degrees. I would switch that bottom gear to a 42 depending on what you're trying to accomplish. if you are powder riding, the large bottom gear works fantastic for boondocking and quick acceleration.
