can i fire up my sled even if i don't have the cables hooked in to the ypvs will the power valve hit the cinders or do any damage

I'm no expert however I have read a lot of post that say there cable pulled threw. They did not know until they inspected them however I would not ride it if you do damage youll really regret it. Therefor the cons far outway the pros on this qeustion.

getting that close to the piston.
Yes there are stops in the cylinders that should keep the vavles from falling in. However, don't ride it too long (over 100 miles or so) The ends of the valves will peen down on the stops and the valve will come in contact with the piston. Also the bottom of the valve will wear a ridge in it from sitting in one place and become useless (even for a repair).
I have seen a few like this. The valve material under the coating is very soft compared to the other parts. In all cases that I have seen there was no wear on the piston or cylinder, but it seems like it would only be a matter of time before something bad happened.

thanks guys and it looks like i installed me p valve wrong so im gona have to take them apart and fix them
