I was wondering where the optimal place is to install the 3rd wheel (or small wheel) kit?
I test fit the mounts, but I dont seem to have enough material to drill the hole if I have it tab UP, and tab down, doesn't seem to fit the best...
Whats the deelio?

my 3rd wheel is probably 1 inch to 2 inches in front of the two front most boggey wheels.

ok, what about the tab orientation, or the spot to drill the hole?
Is that closer to the top of the skid, or down near the sliders?

the holes go between the slides & the next rail up. The groove on the aluminum piece goes over that small rail. Thats how mine is anyway.
I'd have to show you on my sleds,,but,,there in Michigan and I'm not...

I'll get back to you on a for sure answer on that tomorrow Chilli, when i look at my sled in daylight.
I put mine right at the bend of the rails. I also have a set of 4 5.38 inch wheels on that I replaced the stock 5.125 wheels with. I also replaced the wheels with 5.38 wheels on the axle between the rails just forward of the rear axle.
I have ZERO hyfax wear. My next skid mod is going to be some 7.5 inch wheels in the rear

ok, so from what I can see, hole to be drilled would go betwen top of sliders and middle ridge in the rail itself.
Mine will also go right at the start of the curve

If you look for some of my suspension post you'll see a pic of the hyfax saver wheel kit installed on my old pro action. Could give you an idea.

wow, had to pull the skid again to pull this off, no room to enlarge hole otherwise and get bolt started
Went in well, minor grinding on bottom of block to clear sliders, but fitment is excellent, should be a big help
While I was in there, replace 8 bearings too
