pilot's have a small small hole,,doesn't take mutch to plug 'em..
Mine have been clear each year for the last 4, so I don't think it's the gas as much as it's the storage conditions. We've been 'up to 10% methanol' in Ontario for some time now. All I've been doing is putting inthe reccomended amount of Sta-bil, running the sled for 10 mins with the oil cable pulled out to full oil and put it away hot. That's it. Goes into a nice dry trailer and I say hi to it in the spring. Maybe it's the extra oil sitting in the carbs in my case.

can be a PITA fogging these triple and quad cyl's...

I know everyone said to clean carbs and I agree, I just wanted to say, I have seen many a snowmobile with a mouse nest in the airbox and into the carb throats after summer storage.

I use sea foam and never start until time to ride in winter, no problems. I do have to pull a few times to get the gas flowing again.
