I have an 02 Viper. just got it out of storage and rode it for the first time last night. It runs great unless I am going less than 10 miles per hour. Then it seems to bog and idle very very low. If I open the choke halfway it seems to help. Once the RPM's are up and I am moving it is fine. Is this a dirty carb issue?

also...the warning light and gas gage constantly blink on and off. would that have anything to do with it?

any advice is appreciated.

Pilots if I had to put $$ on it.

My Venom did that on start up this year. Two pilots had a blockage.Carbs were clean except for a little staining on the float bottoms and some salt like looking granuales on the plastic ring on the main jets.Think thats what got in my pilots...oh the fuel these days!!!

1-like the other boy's said pull carbs and clean, pull all jets and clean then blow out jets/carb passages with shop air.

2-your warning light your full on fuel aand it still blinks??

Is it possible that the problem could be solved by running sea foam through it?

Sea Foam is a preventative, not really a cure. If you have varnish build up it will loosen and dislodge and plug up your carb even more. Once you have your fuel system cleaned Sea Foam a couple times a year works amazing to maintain a clean system.
